University of Health Sciences, Istanbul Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital is located in Istanbul. The hospital was established in 2009 and has been serving both local people and healthcare guests from all over the world with 465 beds and 1657 employees. Surgical treatments including adult and pediatric cardiovascular disease and congenital heart disease are performed in a total of 15 operating rooms. We serve with high quality and technology equipped 9 cardiac catheterization laboratories, 6 of these laboratories are used for adult cardiology, 1 for adult electrophysiological studies and device implantation, 1 for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric congenital heart diseases, and 1 for pediatric electrophysiological studies.
