About us

    The University of Health Sciences Technology Transfer Office A.Ş., the University of Health Sciences Technology Transfer Office Project application was submitted to the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) Innovative and Creative Istanbul Financial Support Program on 05.07.2018 by the University of Health Sciences in order to create qualified human resources for the University of Health Sciences and to establish the infrastructure needed. Commenced on 01.10.2018 and successfully completed on 30.10.2020, all of the know-how established in the project was transferred to Health Sciences University Technology Transfer Office Inc. to provide an effective and active working environment.

     Since the day it was established, University of Health Sciences Technology Transfer Office A.Ş. has been authorized to implement the R&D, innovation, and innovative ideas carried out at the University of Health Sciences as projects, to manage entrepreneurship and commercialization activities, to lead the projects developed in close cooperation and coordination with the university, to contribute to the health sector, entrepreneurship eco-system and ultimately to the national economy by using the intellectual capital, laboratories and any opportunities that are the output of the project. In this regard, the "Health Profession Education Service Delivery Platform" project was launched to increase the knowledge, experience, and practical experience of all health professionals in Turkiye and abroad, to ensure that Turkiye becomes an international brand in the field of health education, and to coordinate the delivery of the needed training by the academicians of the University of Health Sciences through a single platform.

     In this respect, a project partnership was established with the Uluslararası Sağlık Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi (USHAŞ), which was established as a subsidiary of the Ministry of Health with the Decree Law No. 663 published in the Official Gazette dated August 03, 2018 and numbered 30498, within the scope of the "Health Vocational Education Service Delivery Platform" project, due to the fact that its fields of activity include "To carry out activities for health vocational education tourism; to mediate the provision of students from abroad to educational institutions in Turkiye, to open educational institutions abroad and to carry out educational activities." Work on the project continues with the contributions of stakeholders.

Mission

    Our mission is;

  • To provide the trainings that health professionals need and / or will need through the academicians of the University of Health Sciences, which has the largest health-oriented education, research, and development infrastructure in Turkiye, and the affiliated hospitals, which are the implementing organizations that will increase the implementation effectiveness of the project,
  • To contribute to the vision of a Turkiye that offers healthcare services at international standards by providing the necessary training to health professionals in Turkiye to improve the quality of healthcare services in Turkiye,
  • To assume a leading national and international position in the coordination of public institutions and organizations, private sector, and health-themed non-governmental organizations in health training to be organized in Turkiye for health professionals from abroad,
  • To ensure that the quality and standard of health education provided abroad is enhanced,
  • To strengthen the country's image and play a leading role in health vocational education by effectively promoting Turkiye's capacity, opportunities, and potential in health education abroad through increasing the quality of training to be provided to health professionals from abroad,

 

Vision

      In order to create an internationally recognized, reliable, and effective "Turkish Healthcare Sector", we provide health professionals with knowledge and skills on the best practices of healthcare services in Turkiye, and prepare health professionals to lead in this field.  Furthermore, by following developments in the field of health, we aim to provide a patient-centered, equitable, sustainable, and accessible health service in line with international standards.
