The real name is EKMELÜDDİN MÜETTED EL-NACUVANI. He is known as the "Sultan of Physicians" and "Maliki of Physicians". Perhaps the most valuable of the physicians trained during the Seljuk period is BEYHEKİM.

He also worked as Chief Physician at Gevher Nesibe Medical Site in Kayseri for a while. Medical students studying at Kayseri Gevher Nesibe Medical Site, the world's first Faculty of Medicine, would prepare a graduation thesis when they graduated. If this thesis was found successful, BEYHEKİM would give him a certificate stating that he could practice medicine in Seljuk lands. The birth and death years of this great physician are unknown. He is Hz. He was a disciple of Mevlana and a doctor. It is stated in the records that Mevlana served as a doctor to his son, Sultan Veled. BEYHEKİM, who is known as Mevlana's doctor in Konya today, treated him for various diseases and was with him in front of him. Once, while Tıryak-ı Faruk Simile was preparing henna for Sultan Rükneddin, the BEYHEKİM saw Mevlana next to him and offered him to take a finger of the paste. Mevlana responded to BEYHEKİM with the following joke. “EKMELÜDDIN” HAS INSERTED A DRAGON WITHIN US THAT IF BAHR-I MUHIT WAS ADDICTED, IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE TO GIVE HIM MEDICATION. Hz. BEYHEKİM, the doctor of Mevlana and his family, was commemorated with great respect in "Letters of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi". Hz. Mevlana wrote to him in a letter: "THE GREATEST OF PHYSICIANS, THE MOST PURIFIED OF LIFE'S ORES, THE ANTIDOZE OF TROUBLES AND POISONS, THE FRUIT OF THE TREES OF REASON, THE REMOVAL OF THE EVIL WANTS TO BE CREATED BY HOLY PEOPLE. THE ORE OF THE SEA OF POSSIBILITY….” He used an appreciative expression: "It is what it is." In another letter, he states: "OUR SKILLED, BEAUTIFUL, FAITHED, TRUE SON, WHO IS PROUD OF THE DOCTORS, IS THE SUPPLEMENT OF RELIGION AND THE STATE." Bahaeddin Veled also has a letter written very respectfully to BEYHEKİM. It is to praise BEYHEKİM with an ode of forty-one couplets. Moreover, when the first letters of this ode are read, it is noteworthy that the name EKMELÜDDİN MÜEYYED EL NAHCUVANI appears. BEYHEKİM, who had a mosque and a hospital built in our beautiful Konya, does not have a healing center today.

A committee that identified Konya foundations on behalf of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror recorded the location of today's mosque as follows: VAKF-I MESCİD-İ BEYHEKİM DER MAHALLE-İ DEVLET HAN On this day, the people of Konya went to the first hospital in the region, which is considered as a health complex, in order to keep this legacy alive, in order not to forget it and to keep it alive.
