Prof. Dr. Mutlu Demiray Personalized Cancer Treatment Center was established being the first personalized cancer treatment center in Turkey. The founder of the center, Prof. Dr. Mutlu Demiray, is a pioneer in precision oncology with the 8 years of experience and a personalized molecular approach to the patients. He interpreted comprehensive genomic profiling tests results of more than 1200 domestic and foreign patients and applied personalized treatment approaches according to test results.

Comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) must be done as a first step in order to make the precision oncology come real. However, the interpretation of CGP results would be a problem for an oncologist due to the complexity of molecular analysis. We need a preclinical scientific approach for the best interpretations of the results. PhD level clinical cancer biologists work in the center to help Dr. Demiray to interpret the molecular results.

Every patient admitted to our clinic undergoes a detailed examination, CGP results interpreted by the clinical cancer biologists and the results are discussed in the molecular tumor board (MTB). MTBs are the key for success in precision oncology. Clinical studies and our clinical experience showed that the treatments discussed and applied with the decision of MTBs are more successful than the traditional approaches.

Having an extensive experience in interpreting the comprehensive genomic testing and the molecularly guided treatment applications, we would like to share it with the clinics who may be interested. We are ready to collaborate with many projects such as online/offline case consultations, virtual MTBs, educational activities or preceptorships.
