General Dentistry
It is a branch of dentistry that tries to eliminate the problems related to oral and dental health of children, young people and the elderly, primarily with preventive treatments, and then with all the necessary treatment options.
Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery
3 Dr. In our department, which has a Faculty Member and 10 Doctoral students; all soft tissues in the mouth (tongue, cheek, lip, salivary glands, etc.) the diagnosis and surgical treatment of all kinds of ailments and diseases of the teeth, jaws and jaw joint are carried out.
Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology
1 Dr. In our department, which has a Faculty Member and 2 Doctoral students; It is the entrance door of dentistry, where the treatment planning and findings of a patient with oral and dental health problems are determined. Dentistry; All patients with oral and dental health problems who study diseases, abnormalities, developmental defects of the mouth, teeth, gums and surrounding tissues, research diagnostic and treatment criteria, and treatment planning is carried out.
Department of Endodontics
1 Associate Professor, 2 Doctors . In our department, which has a Faculty Member and 6 Doctoral students; Inflammation and trauma cases occurring in the pulp due to deep caries, fractures and cracks in the teeth are restored to health with root canal treatment.
Department of Orthodontics
1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 1 Doctor. In our department, which has a Faculty Member, 1 Research Assistant and 12 Doctoral students; It is a specialty of dentistry that diagnoses, tries to prevent and treats complicated dental and maladaptive jaw relations. In our orthodontics department, all orthodontic problems are monitored and treated.
Department of Pedodontics
1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 1 Doctor. In our department, which has a Faculty member and 19 Doctoral students, it serves to protect the oral and dental health of child patients from birth to adolescence, prevent various problems that may arise, detect existing diseases and anomalies at an early stage and ensure that their treatment is carried out without progression.
Department of Periodontology
1 Professor, 2 Specialist Physicians, 1 Doctor . In our department with a Faculty Member and 7 Doctoral students; surgical and non-surgical gum and tooth surface procedures, tooth surface cleaning, root surface smoothing, detertration and curettage procedures, occlusal arrangements. Surgical treatment of gum retractions, surgical treatment of gum growths, surgical applications to treat tissue losses that develop due to gum diseases, bone grafts, membrane applications, soft tissue grafts, surgical applications for gum aesthetics are performed.
Department of Prosthetic Dental Treatment
1 Specialist Physician, 4 Doctors . In our department with a Faculty Member and 17 Doctoral students, the procedure is performed by filling the missing parts of the teeth or one or more missing teeth and related missing tissues with appropriate substances in order to restore function, aesthetics, comfort and health that have deteriorated, decreased, disappeared.
Department of Restorative Dental Treatment
1 Professor, 2 Doctors. In our department, which has a Faculty Member, 1 Specialist Physician and 2 Doctoral students, there are various reasons (caries, abrasion, discoloration, structural losses, etc.) the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that may occur in the hard tissues of the teeth are carried out using up-to-date information and technologies.
