Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital was opened as a State Hospital on 18.10.2002. It provided health services as a Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2015. In 2016, as Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University, it started to provide services within the scope of University Hospital.

In 2015, with the newly opened obstetrics and pediatrics hospital building in the hospital garden, health services are provided on a closed area of 144,953 m2. Kezban-Esat ÜNSAL Neighborhood Polyclinic with a closed area of 460 m2 and Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood Polyclinic with a closed area of 1900 m2 provide polyclinic services to our patients.

The construction of the Oncology building started in the hospital garden has been completed and started to serve our patients.

Our hospital currently serves with 836 beds together with the obstetrics and pediatrics hospital. Our hospital has 23 operating rooms where general and local surgeries are performed. Newborn intensive care with 61 beds, adult intensive care with 75 beds, pediatric intensive care with 30 beds are in service in our hospital.

An average of 7000 patients are examined daily. An average of 5500 operations are performed per month. Robotic surgery operations are also performed in the hospital.

It serves an average population of 2.9 million.
