Prof.Dr.Merdiye ŞENDİR

She continued her nursing education, which she started at Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty, Health High School, at Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, and received a "Bachelor's Degree" in 1989.

Between 1985-1990, she completed her compulsory service at Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty Hospital, Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic and Nursing Services Directorate.

In 1990, she started to work as a "Research Assistant" at Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, Department of Nursing Fundamentals. She completed her "Master's Degree" (1994) and "PhD" in Nursing Department (2000) at Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing Management. She was appointed to the "Assistant Professor" staff in 2003. She received the title of "Associate Professor" in Nursing in 2010 and "Professor" in 2015.

She studied nursing education and services as an Erasmus lecturer at Norway-Bergen and Finland-Pirkanmaa Universities. He attended undergraduate and graduate education in nursing as a visiting lecturer at the State University of New York - Binghamton University, Decker School of Nursing, and conducted studies on simulation applications in nursing education.

She was transferred to the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Health Sciences on April 18, 2016. She was appointed as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Nursing on September 5, 2016, and as the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing on December 27, 2018. Continuing his work as the founding Dean of Hamidiye Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Merdiye Şendir also served as the Deputy Dean of Hamidiye Faculty of Health Sciences between October 6, 2021 and January 10, 2022. She was reappointed as Dean of Hamidiye Faculty of Nursing on February 02, 2022.

Main areas of interest; Nursing fundamentals, nursing education, orthopedics and traumatology nursing, drug management in nursing, evidence-based nursing, nursing informatics, health care technologies and simulation applications. He has many publications in national and international refereed journals, citations to these publications, book chapters, national and international project studies, conferences and association memberships on these subjects.
